<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Ulysses Club of New Zealand is a social club with an emphasis on motorcycles. Membership is open to those aged over forty with associate membership available to those under forty. The Canterbury branch is based in Christchurch and covers the greater Canterbury area from Kaikoura in the north, the Rangitata River in the south and inland to the Southern Alps.<\/p>\n
Regular Branch Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Papanui RSA, 7.00pm \u2013 9.00pm, everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n
Branch rides are held most Sundays throughout the year. Day time mid-week rides, to destinations within a few hours riding, are also on offer. Everyone\u2019s welcome to join these rides.<\/p>\n
Occasionally overnight rides to venues throughout the South Island are organised.<\/p>\n
All of these rides are advertised in the Events Calendar on this site, on Facebook, and in our monthly Newsletters.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s also a new bi-monthly update with links to various rides and events \u2013 have a look at The Good Oil in our Newsletters section.<\/p>\n
Our three major events during the year are the Anzac Day St John Ambulance fund raiser, held on the 25th of April 2021, the 1000Km Longest Day ride in November, and our Helicopter Hunt ride (Nov 2020 \u2013 March 2021).<\/p>\n

Notices of major upcoming events are also posted on the National Web site<\/a>. If you\u2019re interested in joining the club please feel free to come to our monthly meetings, or join in our rides, and get to know us, or just call one of the Committee members.<\/p>\n
